anyone out there?

(miss mia may about this time 2 yrs ago)

here we are!
this has been a beautiful fall and have been enjoying it as much as we can. these kiddos of ours sure are fun. i could just watch and marvel at their every move all day long.
oh wait. that is what i do.
(thanks to our wonder-daddy-we love you:))

jake and lucy are both incredibly active little ones and absolutely LOVE to be together. lucy's every waking moment is a quest to find out what jake is up to. her every sleeping moment, jake is asking non-stop when he can go get his sister.
so sweet.

always up for a good ride.

lately, more than ever, we are so very grateful for our health. it is such a beautiful gift and should not be taken for granted. there seems to be a trend around us of dear people
with major battles for their health.

my sweet friend, erin, just lost her dear sister to a courageous journey with cystic fibrosis.
although i did not know her, astra will always be an example of strength and optimism to me.

also, some kind friends here in wellsville have been rallying for their little 5 yr old boy. what they thought was a stomach ache has since turned into a battle for spencer's life down at PICU as they are trying to get him stable through machines and meds, otherwise he will be considered for a heart transplant.

as we know all too well, it is during these heart wrenching trials that not only our own prayers and faith, but prayers and support from others is what gets us through.

please, if you are still out there, keep these families in your prayers. i know that no matter who they come from, encouraging words definitely make a difference in these dark moments.

thank you and we love you!
