we sure have loved having lucy lou here! she is so stinkin sweet and mushy-GREAT cuddler. she never makes it far from mommy, in fact is almost constantly in arms. uh-oh, there goes my babywise instincts. oh well. i love every second of her snuggles and they are only going to last a mere weeks out of all eternity. bring on the spoilage!
here are a few things about lucy after her first month:
-has already visited the nicu for about 3 days. she is fine now it ended up being a uti, but as you can imagine, it sure had mommy and daddy scared! the drs sent her home on oxygen for cautionary reasons and are going to follow up with tests to find a cause in such a young baby (happened at 2wks)
-smiles in her sleep, we have even caught her full on laughing in her sleep. we are pretty sure she is having fun swapping stories in her sleep with her big sister:)
-big eater. for about the first week, she was averaging 4oz and i thought i would never catch up. as soon as i did, she cut back to a more normal meal size:)
-loves to outstretch her arms while she is sleeping
-enjoys noise. has to. her brother is a noisy guy:)
-because of all of the anti-biotics-is quite collicky(?)...poor little tummy
-already loves having a big brother, she can't stop staring at him when he is around.
-doesn't get out much=more cuddle time:)
-pretty easy-going baby all around
-very yummy to munch on
WE LOVE LUCY!!!
